Scholarship Application 2008
 

Goals:
The Art Maui bylaws state the purpose of Art Maui is to promote, encourage and recognize excellence in the visual and tactile arts in the County of Maui through education and the exhibition. The directors would like to enhance the educational efforts by giving individual scholarship funds to high school seniors who show direction in furthering their education and advancing their careers in the visual arts.

Scholarship Guidelines:
Applicants must be seniors graduating from any high school venue in Maui County, including private, charter and home school, in the Spring of 2008, who are currently enrolled in Advanced Placement or combination of visual arts classes.

Application Process:
1. Complete application form.
2. Submit a CD including 5 examples of your work created within the last two years JPG format.
    DO NOT SUBMIT ORIGINAL ARTWORK
3. Include a statement about your work and future education plans (up to 250 words).
4. Include a letter of recommendation from a teacher who is familiar with your work (up to 250 words).
5. Attach a copy of your current high school transcript.
6. Mail all to ART MAUI (address below), to arrive by MONDAY, MARCH
31, 2008.
