Juror’s Statement: “Serving as a juror for an art exhibition is an honor—an opportunity to appreciate the creativity and dedication of each artist. It is a chance to learn, to discover emerging artists just entering for their first time, to see established artists continue to explore and grow. I respond to artworks where the fine line between the chosen medium, the quality of the technique and process, and the artist’s concepts blend and transform into a stronger statement. Those works that speak to me visually, conceptually, or emotionally capture my attention with a deeper dialogue on multiple levels of interpretations. I respond to work where artistic expression and technical expertise create a lasting impression that I can see and feel in heart and mind.”
