Winners have been selected! Check out the List of Awards for this year’s scholarship winners.

Continuing with its scholarships program for 2017, Art Maui is delighted to announce that along with the usual three $2000 scholarships previously offered to Maui County High School seniors, we have added a $1000 Honorable Mention scholarship category this year. Invited to participate are high school seniors from public and private schools as well as home schooled students. The application information and form can be downloaded below. Teachers and college counselors will also have this information available for students.

Students may bring their entries to the Schaefer International Gallery at the Maui Arts and Cultural Center (MACC) on Saturday, March 25, 2017 between the hours of 9am and 2pm. Art Maui 2017 juror Sally French will be judging the entries. Students will pick up their entries on Sunday, March 26, 2017 between 9 am and 3 pm at the Schaefer Gallery. There will be an awards ceremony in the Schaefer Gallery at 2pm on April 8.

The artwork of the scholarship winners will be photographed for Art Maui use in publications, and will be featured in a photo book during the Art Maui 2017 show. Each scholarship winner will be presented a copy of the photo book at the awards ceremony.

Art Maui 2017 is very pleased to be able to continue the high school senior scholarship awards. Many previous participants and winners are enjoying successful careers in art and design. Debbie von Tempsky is the scholarship coordinator for 2017. Please contact Debbie at with any questions.
