Art Maui would like to welcome Stephan Jost as our 2014 Juror. Stephan is the Director of the Honolulu Museum of Art. We look forward to introducing Stephan to the rich diversity of Maui artists. About Stephan Jost
Mr. Jost came to the Honolulu Museum of Art in 2011 from the Shelburne Museum in Vermont. Prior to that, he was director of the Mills College of Art Museum in Oakland, California. Consistent throughout his career is the ability to focus on a diverse expression of art and a deep commitment to education and fostering community engagement with art and artists. Stephan Jost is 44 and originally from Michigan, with Swiss parents. He has a BA in art history from Hampshire College in Massachusetts and an MA in art history, specializing in the history of photography, from the University of Texas at Austin.
